Scully v Atherton & Others (2024): Finding of fundamental dishonesty against a legal professional following six-day trial before His Honour Judge Bird in respect of personal injury claim pursued at more than £65,000. West v Blantern & Blantern (2024): Successfully acted for the owners of a family-run Airbnb business involving the dismissal of a claim brought by a children's author under the Occupiers' Liability Act 1957 before His Honour Judge Wood KC and following a two-day multi-track trial of a claim with a value of more than £25,000.
M v EC (2024): Daniel King acted for a young mother of three children who was seriously injured in a slipping accident in a restaurant. The claim was for more than £200,000 and concerned lifelong impairment injuries and affected the claimant’s ability to continue working.
S v L (2024): Daniel King acted for the claimant who was injured whilst riding her bicycle in a park when she was subjected to a dog attack.
Wilson v Liverpool Victoria Insurance Company Limited (2023): A Clinical Negligence case valued at over £500k concerning principles of collateral disclosure in linked proceedings. Daniel King successfully appeared for the Applicant in the High Court.

LV v A & Z (2023): Property insurance fraud case valued at over £70k. Chancery Barrister Daniel King successfully appealed a first instance decision before HHJ Simpkiss because the Judge had incorrectly applied the provisions of s.14 of TLATA and failed to allow the creditor's interests to prevail over those of the debtor/bankrupt.
NFU v R (2022): Daniel King represented an insurer in this finding of fraud against the insurer's policyholder, having proven a deliberate attempt to defraud on grounds of misrepresentation with a claim for exemplary damages.
Credit Hire
Ali v HSF Logistics Polska SP Zoo (2023): Credit Hire case where Daniel King drafted the skeleton argument for the respondent. This found favour with Martin Spencer J in the High Court on a case concerning ex turpi causa and causation of loss in Credit Hire claims.
