Patrick Williamson, instructed by Diane Conway of Howard Bernsteins, represented an IPP Prisoner in a 4-day trial at Stafford Crown Court.

His client was charged with assault against five Prison Officers, whilst serving an indeterminate sentence for attempted murder.

Following the trial, the Jury accepted the defendant acted out of self-defence and unanimously agreed a Not Guilty verdict on all five counts of assault against the Prison Officers.
