Patrick Cassidy, instructed by BMA Law Ltd, successfully represented a Doctor at an Interim Review hearing before the Interim Orders Panel via Skype.

The General Medical Council had referred the case, alleging patient safety issues occurred whilst the Doctor working as a Registrar, leading to a significant incident where a patient's life was said to be in danger. The GMC sought conditions on the Doctor's registration from the Panel.

The panel were told how the Doctor had now moved into GP training and all further reports about her were positive. Following conclusion of the interim hearing, no order was made against the Doctor.
