Kenworthy’s Members & Staff “Go the Extra Mile” to Raise Funds for Mind and The Trussell Trust

Kenworthy's Chambers | February 9, 2021

In February, a few members and staff of Kenworthy's Chambers participated in a "Going the Extra Mile" challenge to fundraise for Mind and The Trussell Trust, two charities they feel are extremely important in this current climate.

The team consisted of Civil Litigation Barristers Josephine Scally and Nicola Jones, Practice Manager Maria Rushworth, Criminal Clerk Paul Mander, Kirsty Speake, and Family and immigration Clerk Daniella Howarth.

The team all had individual targets in miles they aim to achieve over the course of the month and will be doing this via the methods of walking, running and cycling.

They aimed to raise £500 to reflect the target of 500 miles between them, which was tracked via smart devices, logged, and updated on a weekly basis.

The team raised a total of £590 for the two charities, Mind and The Trussell Trust, and exceeded the 500 miles target. A huge congratulations to the team!
